I am so enamored with breastfeeding, how lucky we are to be able to feed our babies with our bodies. I wanted to capture some mamas feeding in the spring blooms and Kara so kindly offered! I loved meeting her and Ida. The joy this baby exudes is so crazy. Enjoy, it's contagious.
Andi approached me with such a touching and fun session idea- her and her fiancé bought their first home together and wanted to capture the exciting and sweet season they're in! We shot in their empty home the day they moved in. They had a picnic in their living room and danced in their empty kitchen hours before they hauled all of their boxes in. I love these transitions in our lives and the opportunity to capture something less common but equally as important is a dream. I would do millions of sessions like these, personal and unique.
pizza, painting and pillow fights. I think that's a pretty perfect day for a 6 year old, or for any age honestly :)
this session was such a dream for me, I really feel like they were their true selves in front of the camera and I can't tell you how much that means to me. plus they just shine at each other and it's so beautiful to watch, much less capture. and London was so much fun, what a sweet soul he is.

these people are like family to me. sweet Vale is turning one this week so I've got to backtrack and get these beautiful shots from his 9 month out there. I love the simplicity of this session and the soft candid family time we captured.
I love the Skillern's sessions- they are always so good at letting Mary explore and letting me focus on capturing her as she really is. I love the curiosity and joy I get to capture when we let loose and let littles wander.
Somehow this is my baby brother in his senior photos. It's such a surreal experience to grow up with someone, honestly. I'm so so grateful I could be the one to take his photos, I'm so proud of him.
I've gotten to shoot the sweet Selvidges since Hadley was a baby and I feel so lucky to have been able to watch her grow. It's hard to believe she's two already, I feel like her first birthday was just a couple months ago. My favorite thing about shooting birthdays for families is you get to capture multiple generations. I love love giving people photos with grandmas and grandpas with their babies.
I first worked with the Cheeks when I shot Cedar's Birth last year. They are such naturals at being their little family and loving each other in front of the lens, I've loved photographing them. This session may be my favorite, I love the glow.
